I had a friend who had a creek running through is property so there was a big concrete slab that served the purpose of a bridge. He decided to build a tree house on posts above the slab and used old telegraph cross members minus the insulators for a ladder up to the tree house. It also had a stained glass window, and the inside had tongue and groove paneling. It looked so good that after he was murdered, his wife sold the house and the new owners kept the treehouse. Years later when the posts began to rot, they had a company come and carefully remove the tree house and now it sits on rails on solid ground. Oh, he also put French doors on either side of the ladder entrance to let light in.

You can make night lights out of the insulators. When I was in Junior Achievement years ago that's what we made and sold for our company. We cut a log making a plate and used that as the base.

Those metal plate can be used to make a fire box or wood stove if you have a welder.

The "frog in boiling water" claims that if you put a frog in boiling water, it will immediately jump out. However, if you put the frog in tepid water and gradually heat it, the frog will remain in the water until it boils to death. The frog is unable to sense the gradual increase in temperature until it's too late. DONT be a Frog. LOL
